New Patients

At Krystal Dental new patients are very welcome, whether you are simply changing dentist, recently moved into the area or have not been to the dentist for a long time.There is no need to be worry if you haven’t seen a dentist for a long while. You are certainly not the first person to be in this situation. We want to help you establish good oral health for the future, so we will definitely not be lecturing you about the past.

I am a nervous patient, how can you help me?

We have many years of experience in treating nervous patients and have been able to overcome their fears to a point where they will happily come and see us regularly.

If you feel nervous or anxious, don’t worry, you are in safe, caring and capable hands; we can provide sedation in cases you are not able to tolerate treatment under local anaesthetic.

Do you accept any dental insurance?

At Krystal Dental we accept all major dental insurances CIGNA, BUPA, SIMPLYHEALTH etc. so if you have any dental insurance please inform us when you make the appointment or on the day of your first visit.

What shall I expect on my first visit?

As a new patient you will be invited to fill a medical questionnaire before receiving the initial consultation. This comprises of a through examination, any necessary X-rays or photos as well as a chance for you to talk to the dentist and discuss any concerns or wishes regarding your teeth.

The results of the examination and X-rays or/and photos will be discussed with you and any treatment required carefully explained. All your treatment options will be discussed and once your choices have been confirmed, your appointment(s) will be arranged for you to have your desired treatment.
